If you have not already seen Apple's new logo, then you are about to be blown away.
Apple wanted to return to it's roots. They began by finding inspiration from their first logo: the old-school rainbow you all remember from the days of type classes in elementary school. From there they applied the modern look of a bright gradient of color (which I think resembles a color gamut). This is the last logo in the timeline below. Though this logo was not well received by critics, investors, and customers. So, back to the drawing board they went. The massive team of designers and creative experts then created their new logo. This consists of colorful abstract squares. Talk about a change in design. Apple has set a new mold away from their look of clean, white brushed aluminum look. Apple is a trend setter, and I think we will be surprised at how this change is going to dramatically alter the face of technology design. Keep 'em coming Apple!
